Just learned that Hennessy adds coloring and something called Boise to their “aged” Cognac. The combination makes the Cognac look and taste older than it actually is. And that’s how they justify the $600 price tag. Also the alcohol content drops as it ages so they have to add newer blends to bring it back up to the proper volume.

Cleaning a new firearm is very good advice. Glock recommends to keep the striker channel free of oil. But every new Glock I buy has oil in the channel and on the striker assembly. I always take off the back plate, remove the striker assembly and remove the factory oil that is there. I bet very few people that buy a new Glock handgun do this.
